The kitchen, led by the owner Koen Sambaer, offers a qualitative seasonal cooking with emphassis on regional and seasonal dishes.
Some specialities are pig cheeks in abbeybeer (winter) and Poperingse Hennepot (chicken, rabbit and veal in sour jelly, excellent in hot summerdays).
Be sure to try some of the more than 100 varieties of beer; Belgium is the primary beer country for good reason.

On May 15th 2009, we opened our brand new hotel. The guest rooms are fabulous as you can see here.
